Kevin R. Frech
I'm Kevin , founder and artistic director of Logical Chaos Productions and an award-winning filmmaker and produced screenwriter ("On the Borderline," starring Elizabeth Pena and Lee Ermey, Lion's Gate). My career began at 18, directing a national broadcast commercial for the University of Oklahoma.
Since then I've directed and/or interviewed doctors, dancers, politicians, CEOs, dogs, children, artists including Bruce Nauman and Richard Serra, performer/actor Bill Irwin, and actors Ed Harris and Juliana Margulies.
I also make documentaries. My last feature-length doc, "Poacher," deals with animal poaching and poverty in Africa and is distributed by Parthenon Entertainment. My previous documentary, "Bowery Dish," debuted at the Tribeca Film Festival, aired on The Sundance Channel and has been illegally downloaded over 30K times. An earlier documentary, "Not Like in the Movies," resides in the permanent collections of the Prinzhorn Museum in Heidelberg, Germany and the American Folk Art Museum, NY.
My screenwriting credits include three work-for-hire scripts, several options and one uncredited rewrite on a theatrically released film I'm not allowed to name. I'm also a Sundance Lab Fellow.
In my spare time I’m an artist working in video/multimedia. I started in video design and won an EDDY award for my work with Blue Man Group. My work has shown at Arte Laguna, Venice; Art Nova 100, Beijing; Storefront Media Gallery, Seattle; Barrett Art Center, Poughkeepsie and Davidson College, NC.
I hold a BFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and continued graduate studies in filmmaking at NYU's Tisch School of the Arts.
Wendy Frech
I joined Logical Chaos because Kevin is an exceptional filmmaker, plain and simple. I'd been unofficially coaching him on marketing and promotion for years, so making it official was just catching up with reality.
I manage video producition for clients and colleagues alike, running point on everything from budgeting to crew hire to client relations.
I'm also executive producer of the Radio Mercury Awards, the ad industry's premier creative audio awards competition, overseeing the entire operation from call for entries through producing the event.
Before Logical Chaos, I was VP of Marketing at the Radio Advertising Bureau (RAB), where, among other projects I built a broadcast radio station from the ground up.
Off the clock, you'll find me singing cabaret or taking abstract photos.
